The Rabbitry Family Album

This page is dedicated to all of the beautiful and sweet babies that I have had raised in my Rabbitry.
Many babies went on to live with new owners, many of them staid here, I hope that you'll  enjoy the baby pictures as  much as I do when I look at them.

This picture was taken MANY years ago, with an old fashioned camera and film. Two REW french angora babies, around 5 weeks old. They are so cute at this age !!

This is a series of pictures taken of the same siblings from one litter, later named AA's Q-Tip for the doe and AA's Luke  for the buck. On the left, they are 8 days old, eyes still closed. At this age you can already see that they  are both Sable Pearls in coloring. The picture on the right shows Q-Tip and Luke at 5 weeks of age , the wool is lighter in color now due to it's length, the tip of the wool are still colored, and the face mask is more visible.

To the left is a picture of the same two babies one week later, now 6 weeks old, and to the right is a picture of Q-tip at 10 months of age.   Both bunnies staid with me, and both Grand Championed  a few weeks apart from each other. Q-tip received a Best in Show in 2006.

This is a litter of sable French Angora babies, out of Grand Champion AA's Lady Eowynn.
Born in 2005, several of these babies championed. 4 weeks old at the time this picture was taken.

This Picture is a litter of REW's out of AA's Kate , born in 2006. The babies are about 15 days old.
French Angoras do look like normal furred rabbits at this age, the wool grows longer  after a few weeks.

This litter was born in 2004, to my red French Doe Scarlet.  We find all of the torts on the left, followed by a few reds and the fawns all the way to the right. Got to love the third bunny from the left , the little tort being nosey.

This wooly bunch is a litter of French Babies born in 2006, 4 blacks to the left, with 2 blue's on the right.
About 4 weeks old at the time this picture was taken.
One black baby and one blue baby, both does, have staid here and will be shown starting this spring.

Last but not least, here is a photo of newborn French Angoras, born 12-20-2006. I plan to take pictures every 10 days, and  post them here. This litter is out of AA's Q-tip, her first litter, and we have 4 REW's ( ruby eyed white ) and one sable colored baby. The REW's will look pink with a white shadow and the sable will look brown when first born.

This is the same Litter at 9 days old, we lost one white baby, but still have 3  REW babies ( now very obvious) and one sable baby  ( brown).

This picture was taken of a litter born on 12-20-2006 as well, babies are 9 days old in this picture.
Mom is G.C. SH's Halo , black pointed White, bred to AA's Simon, REW.
All 4 babies where born white, and are still white at this age.  A faint shadow on at least 2 baby's tails tells me that those two might turn into pointed white, a color that will develop in the first 3 weeks of live and get darker slowly. I will follow the color and growth development with the camera and post new pictures here.

A Halo Baby, now 20 days old. The himi marking have
have appeared 3 days ago, and are getting darker
and bigger every day. The litter now shows 2 REW
and 2 himi marked babies.
